This renovation required Building Consent with the main walls to the kitchen being removed to create an open plan living space within the centre of the house. The client wanted a mid size kitchen that reflected her taste in vintage style that also fit within the confines of the existing residence. A large centre joinery piece was designed to house the fridge and pantry that also created a 'passage' between the main living area and office space. The breakfast bar was fundamental to the client, as was the use of retro colours / timber and brass detailing. Photos show Before & After.
